Every year they close down a few blocks of 15th in Downtown Denver near Larimer Square. Artists converge from around the world to etch temporary masterpieces on the asphalt.
A group of artists from RMCAD (Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design, where I have my current day job) had a space in addition to several businesses, charities and individual artists. It was a good time. It's amazing what some of these people can do with colored chalk and a LOT of time (and water, and sunblock)
